The Blotter

REALLY DUMB CROOK NEWS: While sitting behind the wheel of his car, a pizza delivery guy was accosted by a gun-toting crook, who demanded he hand over all his money. A struggle ensued, during which time the crook dropped his gun inside the pizza dude's car, who then promptly fled the scene. Unbelievably, the same crook showed up at the pizza joint a short time later demanding his gun back. Workers told him to wait a minute while they retrieved it, and instead summoned the police who arrived a few minutes later and arrested the idiotic guy.

UP TO NO GOOD: Three troublemaking teens were arrested after they broke into a middle school trailer. Once inside the mobile home classroom, the trio of delinquents stole several items, including a CD player, a mechanical pencil, test papers, several cans of soft drinks and a megaphone. They also attempted to start a fire inside the trailer.

TEEN TANTRUM: A young girl was charged with a litany of offenses including disorderly conduct, damage to property, and vandalism after she threw a tantrum at her middle school. Apparently the disruptive damsel was unhappy at her school and didn't like her teachers. This prompted her to pour juice and peanuts on the carpet, and throw wadded up pieces of paper and aluminum foil at staff, all while letting loose with a string of profanities.

ONE TOUGH BROAD: While walking through his apartment complex, a man was accosted by a young female who produced a knife and robbed him of $50. While the man suffered no physical injuries during the robbery, his ego no doubt took a significant beating.

HOME DÉCOR MADE EASY: A woman house was broken into and a slew of items were stolen. She told police that she believes the thief -- who got into the house using a key -- was probably her estranged husband. Whoever the thief was, it appears he or she or they are in the middle of a house makeover, as they stole a chandelier, several doors and glass panes, carpet and a microwave.

NASTY NOTE: A man strolled into a local convenience store and asked the clerk if he could get some change. When the clerk opened the register, the sneaky suspect slipped him a note saying he had a gun and wanted all the money. The clerk wisely obliged, and the crook fled the scene on foot.
