The year in music (photos)

A look back at 12 months on stage

From the small stage of Crown Station Pub to the main stages at Carolina Rebellion, I witnessed a wide range of music in the last 12 months. In the past, I tried to qualify it all, pointing out the best and worst of the year; the good, the bad and the ugly, etc. This year, I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves. The music world lost Scott Weiland. Charlotte’s music scene lost the Chop Shop, Tremont Music Hall and Tommy’s Pub. Andy the Doorbum bid farewell and moved West. It’s been quite a year. I’m just happy to have witnessed a good bit of it.
