First Drip (11/20/13): John Oliver comes to Charlotte, Florida Republican caught with cocaine, more

The Daily Show's John Oliver is coming to Charlotte this week. We catch up with the "Brit wit" in this week's cover story.

Apparently the Monroe couple that handcuffed a kid to their porch and tied a dead chicken around his neck are not the child's foster parents, as previously reported.

Call Florida what you want, but don't ever accuse it of being boring. Rep. Trey Radel, a Sunshine State Republican elected in 2012, will be in court today after he was found with some cocaine in D.C. Tuesday. He faces a maximum of 180 days in jail, as well as a fine of up to $1,000, according to Politico.

Employees of a Cleveland, Ohio, Walmart are collecting food for their co-workers who won't have enough for Thanksgiving. Wonder how many of the company's higher-ups will have that problem?
