The Midnight Ghost Train A rather apropos namesake for this combo that’s like a slow moving train chugging through stark lands on a, well, mysterious night. The Kansas rockers’s slow burning blues-rock rides into sludge rock territory, speeds up, slows down, rams into psychedelic jamming and then rolls on again. Toss in some acoustic, bluesy numbers and the overall ride is pretty intriguing. $5. Snug Harbor. www.snugrock.com.
