Temperance League brings forth blue-collar rock tonight (10/1/11)

Posted By on Sat, Oct 1, 2011 at 7:00 AM

Temperance League Bruce Hazel writes songs for the blue-collar worker with a chip on his shoulder. Ripping a page out of Springsteen’s notebook, the charismatic front man finds a balance between writing solid rock songs and getting people to think about the state of the economy or the outbreak of war. Backed by some of Charlotte’s finest musicians, there are plenty of reasons to see this band live. With Scowl Brow. $5. Snug Harbor. www.snugrock.com.
