The Deal: A variety of Charlotte musicians perform brief sets.
The Good: Local student Emily Sadler organized this evening of music as part of a senior project for her school. Each of seven musicians performed for roughly 15 minutes.
The night kicked off with an acoustic set by local rockers Grown Up Avenger Stuff. Deirdre Kroener showed off her pipes and vocal range. The music was light, but Kroener's rasp and power gave a hint of what their full-on sound is like. Definitely keep an eye on them — the group won the recent Battle of the Bands from Spectra Records and will be battling for a record contract this spring.

The Deal: I'm not exactly sure who the headliner here would be — Ken Will Morton opened up the night, Overmountain Men packed the place for their set, 2013 Wolves entertained a new set of patrons for their closing set. Maybe a co-headlining bill is a better description.
