Hodges Taylor Gallery

Staff Pick

This isn’t a lifetime achievement award, though this gallery deserves one. Hodges Taylor is Charlotte’s longest surviving gallery — 27 years, or two centuries in art gallery years. They have survived through the ages and are reborn annually, through the grit, vision and the good eyes of co-owners Dot Hodges and Christie Taylor. New artists appear each year, with the quality of work as the sole thread bonding talents diverse, uncommon and often surprising. 401 N. Tryon St., Suite 108. 704-334-3799.
