Eat Charlotte unveils Web site

Briana Cohen, founder of Eat Charlotte, announced that Friday, June 19, 2009 will be the launch date for the group’s web site. Eat Charlotte was created to foster a growing relationship between independent restaurants and their communities. The initial goal is to raise the profile of local restaurants that support the support the local economy and community. Originating members include: Andrew Blair's, Aquavina, Barrington's, Blue, Bonterra, Cafe Monte, Carpe Diem, Custom Shop, Fenwick's, Global, Good Food on Montford, La Vecchia's, Las Ramblas, Latorre's, M5 Modern Mediterranean, Mimosa Grill, Nix, Noble's, Pie Town, Press, Ratcliffe on the Green, Rooster's, Sonoma, Upstream, Zebra, Zink American Kitchen. Eat Charlotte restaurants will feature half price bottles of wine Friday, June 19 through Saturday, June 27, 2009.
