This city’s official slogan is “Charlotte’s Got A Lot.” But what the hell does Charlotte have a lot of, other than pollen? That’s why our slogan is better. When Coyote Ugly wanted to move to a different location in Center City, people got mad. But that was nothing compared to the firestorm that Hooters faced when the company announced that it was going to open a location in precious Uptown. Incidentally, construction has finally started on the place; perhaps the next slogan should be “Charlotte: We Give A Hoot.”
