RUNAWAYS. Winthrop University, Johnson Hall, Rock Hill, SC, 803-323-4528. August 30-31, original script by Elizabeth Swados, with new material by Kurt Gerald Heinlein. This hard hitting and enjoyable musical/drama was originally performed on Broadway in 1981 and tells the story of a group of teens living and surviving on the urban streets. Some adult language and content. Showtimes: Saturday 8pm and midnight, Sunday 2pm and 8pm. Tickets $5 students, $10 adults (all proceeds go to the student scholarship fund).
