WUNDERKINDER: THE DIRECTORS OF NEW GERMAN CINEMA - THE LIGHT FACTORY

Staff Pick

Cinematically speaking, there was a lot going on with The Light Factory these past 12 months, although the jewel in the venue's crown was arguably this ambitious film series, which ran for seven days last October. In addition to showing such acknowledged classics as Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire and Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre, the event also showcased five films by Volker Schlondorff (including the Oscar-winning The Tin Drum), with the director himself in town to attend the screenings.
