Local singer/musician Jesse Clasen picked up quite a following with his band Harvard, but one of his other side projects, The Bear Romantic, showcases a bit of his solo side. It's more stripped down and simplified than Harvard, but the lyrical content is just as poetic. Creating sonic landscapes and emotional journeys is a talent that shines through in each band Clasen is a part of, and The Bear Romantic comes across as his most personal project to date.
